Tilm, not bad for starting out. You made a couple of good rotations. Glad to see you didn't try this in open traffic. Two things:
1. I hope you had the permission of the trucking yard owners
2. You need to get your specators and there cars a hell of alot farther away from the "track" next time you do this.
It doesn't take much for something to go wrong very quickly and have someone else seriously hurt.

I know i need practice thats what im doin. Its not that easy and its hard to get a good angle in the RX8. I tried it in my friends mustang and it looked alot better and was a hell of alot easier. The 240 is the easiest car to drift once you get power in it, but im stickin to the RX8 i'll get it. that was only my second night of practice and watching the video helped alot also.
1 i have Advan ver 2
2 we asked all the driver that came in and out they didnt care
3 it state property im not asking them
4 i live in south Fla theres not many open places with out traffic
5 They weren't that close but i think your right

What tires are you using? I have been using stock since I can get them for cheap. Also lightly throwing the steering wheel seems to speed up the countersteer making it easier to get a higher angle.

I have the drift bible and the monkey mans how 2 drift video, which is where i got the idea to do figure 8's by connecting two donuts. It helps to learn when to counter steer. OK heres my setup in the video i was using 225/40/18 federal tires, i have eibach springs pro kit, Agency power rear sway and rear end links, SR pulleys HKS hi power cat back, K n N drop in filter. I just put in my AUTOEXE front and rear strut braces (check out my D.I.Y. thread to see them) The car feels unbelievable in the turns now so it will be interesting this weekend when i go again.
My biggest problem is holding a good angle i tend to spinout. the video I was only in 1st gear, when i practice turns im in the top of 2nd gear.
