me and my rx8
Hi. I wanted to share this with you. I have had my RX-8 for about 12 years. It's a little rusty, but not past the base metal. Over the past few months I have done my own oil change, coolant flush, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coils, transmission fluid, differential fluid, brake pads and rotors, and brake bleed and clutch bleed with a good dot 3 brake fluid. Right now it is running great, much better than it was before I did all the changes. I took this pic on self timer at the local lake. Here is my 8.

Sand that rust down and spray some POR15 over the bare spots. I’ve seen this done on a Camaro and the owner liked the “patched” look so much he kept it. You can do this yourself and it will keep that rust from spreading and causing more damage.
