Well they're not chrome, they're actually hyperblack. They have a gunmetallic sheen to them when you see them in person.

Can you take a daytime pic? Because in those pics those rims don't look gunmetal or any kind of black at all.

Car looks great though! I love it.

 

I think hyperblack is most accurately described as a very light shade of gunmetal with a glossy silver sheen. You can really see the difference between the lip and the spokes; I have some older pics in my album that were taken in the daytime you can check out.

And as for the rear, that's a sad story A few years ago it was obliterated in a hit-and-run accident. Homeboy hit me on the freeway and took off, leaving me to foot the bill. The body shop wouldn't pay for the Mazdaspeed kit, so after running with a replica piece that didn't fit so well, I ended up reverting to stock
