Well the time has finally come. My brothers Lotus Elise just came in the other day. So in our driveway we now have a Magnetic Blue Lotus Elise, a Sunlight Silver RX-8 (mine), a Black Nissan 350Z, and a Black Cadillac Escalade. :D I have never been happier. You have got to see the size comparison between the RX-8 and the Lotus if you have not seen it already. They don't look real small when you are up close but from about 30 feet away you can really see the difference. I will post some pictures as soon as possable.

 

Congrats, It is nice to hear your family shares a love of cars....nice stable of cars. Keep us updated with pics when avail.

I think the lotus is ugly as hell, but I wouldn't mind owning one

The RX-8 is a strange creature. It looks nice on it's own, but when you put it next to a viper, or any other exotic, it no longer looks as low and sporty.

Those are great pics! I would really like to see more interior pics on the Lotus. Looks like there is just what you need...and absolutely nothing else on the interior. I love the exterior...have to see if the interior grows on me.

 

Heh i didn't notie that. All i did was just line em up so i could get them all in the picture. Sorry about the quality my camera sucks. I will post bigger pictures next time also. Next to the lotus my car looks huge. There really is not much to the lotus. It is pure speed and it handles awesome. We got it thursday evening and it had 15 miles on it. But after we gave all the girls and family members rides we are already up to about 230-250 miles. I can't wait to punch this thing. We have to break it in for 600 miles before we can rev it up past 4000 rpms. Any other requests for picures?

 

Hmmm ... the lotus is interesting ... VERY curvy. Almost reminds me of a Corvette. I love the color on that lotus ... wish the rx8 came in that.

I agree about the interior ... very minimal, kinda like a race car.

I actually was the first one to drive it. It was delievered to our house while my brother was out camping or hiking or something. So i took advantage of that. It is by far one of the best looking cars i have seen in a long time and it sounds sooooooo nice. if anyone is ever near Athens Georgia (Home of the Dawgs) then my brother or i will be more then happy to show it off. As far as what is next for the family... I think it will be a 2005 BMW M3. My brother is going to graduate medschool soon so i think that will be his graduation present. Not that he wont be able to afford it himself in a couple of years.

 

not big on the lotus.. Its like a car you only drive like 5 times a year.
