Lots & Lots of Photos #2 - RX7Store.net Dyno Day Photos!! FB's, FC's, FD's & SE3P's

Ra-Eight and I got together with the folks at RX7Store in Columbus, Ohio a few monthes back. They were celebrating they're new building and it turned out to be a nice day.

Let's start with a nice 3 Rotor that Jason and Xavier are putting in a FD!

By the time Success and I left, they had only put one car through. Memory is foggy, but I believe he got around 450 rwhp.

We left when a 3-rotor FC caught on fire on his dyno run.

Yeah, we all LOL'd.

No vid of his dyno run, but it was this guy. Felt bad because he drove all the way from Kentucky or something like that.

Eventhough there is piles of information available on 7Club.com... the 20b into an FC swap is VERY complicated, and unless youve done a handful already - its not easy to get right. By anychance do you know if the guy was working on the car himself or if he had a shop doing it?

If it caught on fire, then thats usually a basic set of problems that could of caused it - and wont be too hard to locate/fix. I cant see anything hosted from photobucket at work - but im assuming this was a turbo charged 20b motor?

From the looks of the install, I think he did it in his garage and showed up to get dyno tuned. I'm not entirely sure though. It is a turbo charged 20b.

Maybe Success can confirm.

Uhhh.....note to self......when dynoing a FC with a turbo charged 20b that is held together with duct tape......have charged fire extinguishers on hand. Better yet, go ahead and have those fire extinguishers IN hand!!!
