just wondering what everyone thinks













really thinking about going with a cf trunk

 

if cf trunk means getting rid of that spoiler, then yes, please, get it.

i don't care for the rear mud flap aero flares, but the sides and front is nice. wheels look good too.

 

Yeah I second that, the rear flaps aren't doing it for me, but the rest looks pretty good.

I don't mind the spoiler as it is... thinking a CF trunk might help finish the look.

Definitely do something with those rear flaps, they look very unfinished just hanging out in midair like that.

 

I have that splitter on order (+1). I like the wheels (+1). I don't like CF on a black car (-1). As for the rear splitter/canards, I don't see how they help any at that angle (-1).

Be careful when you ask for a opinion on cosmetics here. People are brutally honest. Opinions vary. If you like it, do it.

The front of your car looks nice.. like a girl at a bar at closing time

The back of your car looks like what that same girl really looks like at 7am when you've sobered up.

Please take those rear flaps off now they look like some bolt on ricer mod...Other than that it's not too bad.

 

it looks good just dont like that spoiler or the mud flaps

 

I'm not diggin' the "murdered out" look. Looks dull, needs a little contrast.

Don't care for the spoiler either, but other than that..........looks good!

 

I like the hood, but the rest of the kit is too much for me. Just my opinion though.

Looks pretty good; agree with CF on black not being my thing. Wing looks a bit out of place with that kit.

like the time you put into it but like someone said there is no contrast and ive never liked the carbon on black look. I would go with a carbon trunk but then loose the spoiler or paint the top of the trunk black and keep the carbon from the top of the tail lights down following the trunk body line.

 

I love it especially the rims, but that spoiler and those rear flares r just an eye sore

CF on black can look good if done right. I think the issue here is the sum of parts do not necessarily flow together.

 

I think its the fact that your car is black. All your CF parts don't stand out as much. If your car was white, I believe you would have a lot of different responses.

 

IMO part of the issue is the black wheels because hey pull out the darker colors in the CF. Also the rear is sitting up too high and nothing flows from the rear.

 

While RE-Amemiya stuff is race proven, it usually is kinda ugly. Maybe if you had the matching hang-off-the-side-of-the-car sideskirts... maybe. So I'd do something different with the rear skirts.

I'm not crazy about the wheels either.

I don't mind the R-Magic wing, and I think I'd stick with the regular trunk, not crazy about CF trunks.

Overall, I think it looks pretty good though. I think the biggest thing that's hurting you is the horrible picture quality. A photoshoot with a good camera would get more possitive comments.
