long overdue...my first rx8 pics

My first 8. I bought her last June and just never had a chance to post picture.

2004 Titanium Gray, Red/Black Leather
35,223 miles - Paid $12,500 after taxes from a private party.
No winters.

Any "must have" mod recommendations? (appearance or engine)

Must have a drop (to get rid of the horrible looking wheel gap in the front) and exhaust.

The most popular mods are:

- Axial Flow Engineering Short Shifter. You ever notice how your stock shifter is a bit sloppy? Lots of motion, but no real input and feedback? This shifter will fix that. I just bought one too, but I've sat in one beforehand with this installed. It makes it feel literally like my old AP2 S2000 shifter - which to my knowledge has been praised as one of the best feeling shifters of all time.

- Cobb Accessport. Engine management program via OBDII Port Flash using their device. This device gives you not only a bit of power (from the tune), it can control so many other parameters including upgrading your system for forced induction.

- Midpipe or High Flow Cat. You know why this would make power right?

- Suspension. We have a beautifully handling car. Suspension upgrades make it that much better.

I was looking to get clear corners...any recommendations on where to buy them from besides ebay or is ebay where everyone tends to go?

I dont plan on dropping it. I plan on putting a short shifter in and a new exhaust on hopefully this summer. I dont really want to put a whole lot of cash into the car since i'm not planning to race it. I'm just looking to make it look and feel a little fresher but at the same time not drifting too far away from the stock look and feel.

That was my exact same car about two years ago. Much has changed since

Happy modding.

Looks good man. Either some Sway Bars, or an Exhaust are both great first mods.

Thanks man...Mk IV is a beautiful amp. Is it a combo or a head? I have a triple rectifier head with a 4x12 oversided boogie cab myself. Best purchase ever made...right up there with my purchase of an 8
