that cooper has been around for a long time, dominating GT5. its RWD of course.
i think the pace car was the only rx8 at the show? i dont remember seeing another one. the only other rotary i can think of is an rx7 upstairs.

Sweet. Wasn't there a Mazda race event where they used an S2000 as the pace car and not an RX-8 or any Mazda? That was really stupid. Way to promote the brand!

I know the star mazda series comes to Mosport, and Mosport uses S2000 pace cars. I don't think Mazda is going to truck Rx8 pace cars to different tracks, it's up the the track to supply them. Though Mosport is owned by Panoz, so I don't know where the s2000 comes in.
