K&N typhoon v.2 video clip

I received the K&N typhoon intake the other day, and took some pictures and made a video clip (when I first decided to get the K&N, I could not find any good video clips, that showed how the car sounded inside during WOT. So, I decided to make one).

Enjoy.

it seems like that the filter is dry, probabaly just from the angle where the shot was taken.

...nice gloves, btw. do you normally wear gloves every time you drive?

Filter isn't dry, its the pic. No, not normally unless I'm on track/autocross or touge. But it was 30degrees outside, it was cold with the windows down! lol

I don't know why youtube did that, but the video is back up now.
I'm sure you can get the screw at some auto store or lowes.

Hmmm, I really like the sound of that. I hope I enjoy the Mazdaspeed CAI I picked up for x-mas (yet to be installed as the car is being stored for another month or so)

It sounds so much better in the car, I tried to make it really good quality, but youtube had to **** with it

That was the answer I was looking for. Other than than the sound, was there any other noticeable differences in power?

The bolts are just general nuts and bolts that u can get at any online bolt store.

My K&N kit came with 1 bolt missing (!!!!), thats how I know

On the Instruction sheet, the top right corner has a list of what the kit has, just find the stuff that u're missing, find an e-tailer, send them a message tell them what does "this" mean", and they' will tell u the correct number to order. Everybody happy.

thats what i was thinking too. it doesn't look like you oiled it. the filter should be a pinkish color.

notice ANY difference in power? even at the highend? really considering the K&N v2 typhoon intake from someone selling in for sale.

It feels faster, I'm going to do a dyno soon to see how much power has been gained. But it sounds so cool, it really makes the car sound a lot better and louder. A couple of my friends heard me driving, and thought it was an exhaust.

That sounds really nice from what I can here. Sounds much more aggressive but not too over the top. I'm still considering this or racing beat one...

I really want to see how this thing will dyno, but man does it sound amazing. I was so surprised when I first drove it. Sounds a lot better and a lot louder in real life, I'll try to get a video in a tunnel or something up . Get this, you won't regret it.

I'd rather hear an exhaust sound rather than a whoop whoop intake.

I'm planing on getting the HKS Hi-Power soon, and then a test pipe. I'm afraid my car may be too loud.

imput1234 - Let us know how it did on the dyno. I will be interesting to see what HP increase you got with this. I am seriously looking at this mod.

BTW - Does any other forum members have any experience with this???? Would like to hear your input on it.
