Just got an 04 RX8
Hey everyone,
Just recently purchased an 04 RX8. Trying to get some good ideas from people on what upgrades I can do for beginners. Any advice will be great!
Thanks!

Looks like you got a pretty well loaded one.
Looks just like mine actually lol
Invest your money on suspension, brakes, wheels, and tires. You can't go wrong on improving an all-ready VERY well balanced car.
I suggest looking at JIC coilovers if you're shopping with a decent budget. If not, you can always go with Tein S-Techs on Koni SAs - great combo for the street.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Not to sound like a newb or anything (even though I am... :/), what do you mean by Clear Corners?
And would there be any way possible to give me some links for the suspension, and a good tire for the RX8? I have Falken's right now with decent tread.

See those amber looking lenses on the side of the bumper? People on RX8CLUB usually jump on the band wagon of replacement them with clear replacements. I personally think it's useless on a VR RX8. Clear lenses look good on other colors but not VR in my opinion. They look just as out of place as the stock amber ones.
I'm going to say premix and perform basic maintenance first before "mods". Change your fuilds, check when the last time the coils, wires and spark plugs were replaced and replace them if it was over 25k miles ago or haven't been replaced before.

this is what clear corners are, they clean up the front end of the rx8 and get rid of the amber reflectors up front
Suspension mods and an exhaust and intake are always a good start
