I know the mazdaspeed kit isnt original, and some would say its 'played out' but I just love the looks of it, and how much it transforms the car. I think its the way the car should come from the factory.
The front nose was a direct bolt on, but to mount the stock foglights in it you have to get the brackets, they require you drill 3 holes for each fog light, and cut the grill and duck around the oil coolers (not to hard). The side-skirts require you drill 8 holes for each skirt, 4 on the side, 4 under the car, you also have to cut the rock guard under the car and affix some clips to the back fender area (not hard, but you just have to be pretty exact with the drill.
Next up is the rear diffuser and wing, stay tuned.

Don't pay them internet jockeys who say it is played out any mind.
To be honest, there may be dozens of pics of the Mazdaspeed kit on the net and hundreds of threads on forums mentioning the kit (because it looks so sweet), and after a while it does get mind numbing.
But get off the computer and try to remember how many Mazdaspeed 8's have you see in real life rolling on everyday streets and highways? Rarely to never.
You're doing a great job with the kit and although they are in a different class, Ferrari 360 Modena's, 911 TT's, and Mercedes SL55's are more played out than a Mazdaspeed 8 on the public roads.
Keep up the tight work

thanks, and again the hood is just primer black right now, I plan to paint it gloss black and paint the center rotor shape body match silver, and then clear coat the whole thing.
