Jordan i didn't know your dad was on the forum?
Im sorry that you had to hear this lecture from him
He's just mad that your car looks a hundred times better than his!!
and speaking of crap i would look at your wheels before you start telling other that theres is crap!! c'mon with the BS and stop lecturing him about safety!! Its his own car and his money that he spent and has earned by himself he doesn't need anyone on this forum busting his chops like you are!! Let him do what he wants!! his car looks so much better than yours and his car is not lowered and doesn't have a body kit.
your rims are a joke!! not crap but a joke!!

I'm all for constructive criticism and compliments. How is telling a person their rims and tires look like crap constructive. Other choices of words like i don't like them or not my style would have been better, but saying it looks like crap is more insulting than constructive!!

Dude, those tires look ugly stretched, and unsafe.
Sidewalls are supposed to be facing to the side, not touching the asphalt, which is probably what will happen on any turn over 20 MPH.
It just screams "I just paid big $$$ for new wheels but couldn't afford new tires so I made the old ones work!"

bigred i rarely see you post anything positive about anyones cars and choices.
You always enter the thread usually saying 'as long as you like it' or something similar.
Ivory has already posted the reason why his tires are stretched so why doesnt everyone get the picture

ivory, its not a huge deal, but it looks a little weird and its a minor safety issue. upgrade the tires as soon as you have the money, but dont take **** from anybody. you definitely wanna protect your investment. if you hit a pothole and dent a rim, you will be sad. sad sad sad. Project04S3P-v.2.0., chill the hell out. bigred and razz, ignore Project04S3P-v.2.0.

it doesn't bother my what they say, but it does seem that some of the people on this forum feel that they only need to post what they DON'T like.
I don't let it get to me but what i think is funny is that gilbert (dominion) is running the SAME set up as me. 225 stretched on a 9.5 inch rim. he has the same amount of posts on his rims but NONE of them say anything about safety on his stretched rims. i think this is just an age issue with some of the members.
people on here say that i need to do the research, i did the research...no one has had problems with their stretched tires...if you find a thread on this forum over the past 5 years where someone crashed or whatnot because of their stretched tires, then i will recognize your credibility in what you say. but until that happens...i will stand by what i think.

like ive said in other threads, my driveway is pretty steep and lowering it is not a priority for me. At the moment i want to get the burnout kit, which may take away another half inch of clearance. which would make it even more impossible for me to get up my driveway. so yeah....body kit first, lowering last

=P well thats what i planned to do. I want to put rim tape on the outside first to see if i really want the lip. i don't want to do something permanent to my new rims without knowing for sure if i really want them to look that way.

Sex on wheels! I got a chance to see them today in person, and they look so good on the VR. Also, I don't know why everyone is complaining about the stretched tires, I don't see why it bother's everyone so much.. When I saw them in person, they don't look that stretched at all, they actually look real good with the stretched tires..

For some reason, the pictures doesn't do the justice. It doesn't look bad at all when you see it in person, I actually like the way it looks (being stretched).
