I installed blue LEDs in my sister's car tonight and thought I'd post some photos of the final result. We used the 6 led boards from superbrightleds and have them wired so they only come on when the courtesy lights are on.






The led strips have adhesive on the back so I was able to stick one to the bottom of the blower motor and the other on a box right in front of the brake. I added a zip tie on this one for added security.

I think the results were good for such a minimal investment.

 

I think they look fantastic.

You did a great job.

I'm so happy with them.

I can't wait till we do the other set!

did you change the rest of the interior lighting? Feels more red in my car, so I was thinking of going with red oem leds. Better for night vision.

 

Haven't changed it yet, but I think I'm going to... I'm also going to have a second set of bars under the front seats pointed towards the rear.

 

check www.DrLED.com I got some Bright White LED bulbs on there that replaced all my interior bulbs, glove box, trunk , domes, maps, doors, and i even did the parking lamps in the headlight. ill try to take some interior pics soon. so bright!!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the lights for the set. I installed one on my drivers side but it isn't as bright. I took them off my pc...don't ask...but they still look pretty cool. Better than Mazda's!
