No disrespect to any ethnic backgrounds here. But I don't know which will be worse. Tokyo Pop has already screwed up the original anime for American audiences, now the Taiwanese are making a feature length movie?! Give me a break.

 

Coulda been worst ... look at the wild wild west movie , no offense to anyone

 

Yeah.. it never ceases to amaze me how people can take something good and screw it all to hell...

 

Awesome series ive seen the first couple of DVD's released around here...Great stuff..

 

Yes, Tokyo Pop totally botched it, they changed the names of 99% of the characters. I mean you don't see the Japanese changing the name of the characters in the Simpsons when they play it in Japan.

But anyway, the new stage 4 is awesome, I have the first 3 episodes, they're pretty nice.

Ryousuke is by far the best character with his white FC......hence the name.

 

Yea that's Jay Chou playing Takumi Fujiwara (hey, Ekin Chen was already in Legend of Speed and he sucked! why not try Jay?)...also in the movie is Edison Chen (barf! guy can't act worth ****) who will be playing Ryosuke Takahashi...and yes, the movie is beign produced by Andrew Lau in Hong Kong and they working closely with the Japanese developers

playing Natuski Mogi is the girl that played Millie in Ritaana or The Returners here in the US:

 

Any ideas on when this movie will be out?

 

well it's already finished filming and due out sometime in '05...the latest news is that the lead stars are fighting over who gets to sing the theme song...
