IDK But that rotating sub is cool and weird as ****. But the car reminds me of someone here on the forum. Cant remember the username. His car was Yellow and drop on work meisters too.
not sure what you mean?

Hey guys, yes this is my car, I've been absent from the forum for quite some time now as last year I lost my job back in March, and in the middle of all that got contacted by Metra/Vibe/Tsunami to put my car in SEMA. If anybody has any questions about it please feel free to ask, just off the top, the entire stereo system is completely 100% functional, not only are the amps submerged in mineral oil for effect, but it also acts as a cooling agent, as far as the sub we did a ball for a couple of reasons, one is that a sphere makes an ideal enclosure due to no corners for cancelling out standing waves, plus we had the whole space/planet thing etc. Yeah I know I could have spent all that money on a turbo or 20b or whatever, but to be honest if I did that the car wouldn't have achieved its objective at the show, plus I don't have that kind of cash to spend anyway, the only way I was able to pull this off was by getting some help from a few companies and friends volunteering on the labor. I've also picked up a 2nd car to drive every day now which holds my bicycle and can carry parts or whatever else if I need too, given the choice between a turbo or engine mods or having a
2nd vehicle I chose the 2nd vehicle, simple as that. I didn't do anything to crazy with the outside on purpose, my idea was to make it as clean and simple as possible, that way when we opened up the inside it would be that much more mind-blowing. If you don't like it that's fine, I can respect that no problem as it is supposed to be a sports car after all, but considering the amount of effort it took for me and a very small group of tight knit people (including some of the members on this forum) to complete it I couldn't be more stoked with how it turned out. (we actually finished it in the parking lot of the show 15 minutes before the deadline for entering the arena, this after 20+ hours on the road, my installer was so exhausted he fell asleep on the floor plugging in our aux power supply, arms outstretched under the car and everything lol)
SEMA was a pretty awesome experience as well, I got to meet Chip Foose, George Barris and a bunch of other hot rod heroes of mine, plus the car got filmed by several tv stations worldwide and 1000's of people and despite a negative article on car-domain, we got a lot of awesome feedback on it, which was pretty cool. I'd like to go back this year as a spectator if nothing else, hopefully now that I'm employed I can work that out somehow. (I got a new job 3 weeks ago, better pay, better benefits, and a shorter commute to than my old one.. woot!)

canary nice to see ya back. all i can say about that system is hows your headache? im sure that thing makes a lot of noise!! i love the sleeper look, and the way everything looks. One hell of a show car if ya ask me! i laugh though everytime i hear a story about someone putting there car in SEMA it always involves last minute changes or just finishing it before the doors opened. Much props on that work of art!
