Thank you sir, I can never remember the cars name.
It's a real thrill when he shows up on HPDE days, now and then a pro or 2 will jump on the track in Atoms or GT racers to chase him around the track. LOL Kinda makes us wonder what were doin on the same pavement.

 

The Ultimas are crazy, my favs are seeing the radicals go around the track out here they're pretty insane too

 

looks like the rotary powered ultima from scc's ultimate street car challenge a few years back but i could be mistaken.

Almost looks like a corvette's tushy

 

After looking around a bit , it is called an Ultima Can Am with a chevy engine running 350 to 600 hp. All I know it blows by the rest of us in the advance hpde class like we aren't there.
