What brand of paint are you using? Temperature rating?

If anyone wants to hear negative opinions on something, just show me some photos of cars with black wheels. THOSE are ugly.

Actually it looks good. It doesn't mean I would do it on that color but it puts a personal touch to the car that says something about you. Hey atleast your boyfriend can't say it is his car. all the sudden I got this song stuck inm my head...

Bleh... They just look so cheap. And from any reasonable distance, it makes it appear like the owner is riding on all spares. I just don't get it?

I don't think spares are 19" big or have chrome lips.

 

For a girls car it's cool. People wont talk **** when they see you driveing it. IMO I think if your car was white it woulda looked better.

I don't have a problem with the pink paint nearly as much as I do with you painting the pads :/

Calipers are what you paint, when you get it all over the pads it doesn't look right.

I didnt sand anything down, i know i shouldn't have painted the pads and thanks for the compliments
I just wanted to do somethign to make it mine...and everyone here knows me and knows that i love pink--so it works for me..

If i had any *****, i'd paint it a metallic pink (with the flakes in it) ...but i think i'd be pushing it.

You don't need to sand the calipers down, but you should apply several thin coats, letting each dry before the next. That's how I did mine, they still look sharp.

 

I honestly think that would look better.

 

IMO, This is one of the best looking 8's on the board.. and the wheels match nicely.

I dunno... Up close and motionless, it doesn't look too bad. The polished lip helps out a bit (even though it clashes with the rest of the car). But from any reasonable distance, or at speed, all you see is dull black. Just not my cup-o-tea.


I'm wondering now if I should paint my calipers blue... Hmm....

 

Vectorwolf you got Winning Blue 8? I was thinking of doing this but then I changed my mind and now thinking of doing "Silver"

And i've seen a few cars with black rims and polished lips on the track. Looks sexy as hell in motion (In my personal opinion). I guess its just a difference in opinion. Cool.
