I lost my manual, I just bought my car a few months ago and need help programing my garage door opener on my mirror, can anyone help!

Push the learn button on the opener unit and then hold the homelink button on the mirror.
Doing it using method 1 in the manual never worked for me.

 

No problems here following the manual, but holding the buttons did kinda suck!
I also live in a gated community and have programmed the Homelink for that gate as well as the garage door with no issues.

 

I just did mine today

1) hold the 1st and 3rd homelink buttons until the light flashes (takes 20 seconds). Let go of both buttons.

2) hold the homelink button you wish to program, and at the same time your manual opener. While both are held, the light will start flashing slowly then fast, and then it will stop.

Thats it.

Oh and if your car is canadian, in step 2, instead of just pressing your garage door opener, you have to press for 2 sec, let go, press 2 seconds, let go. .etc (cycle)
