Sooo my girlfriend got her first car in the states (finally, omg. so I don't have to drive her around anymore lol).

We wanted to get a Mazda 3 with the GT package (for the Bose, Leather, Sunroof and HID), but turns out that none of the dealer wanted to let it go for cheap (prolly cuz there are just so little of them).
Private sellers are no where to be found neither.
Anyways, we figure with the price they offer, we could get a Volkswagen GTI, and thus we did. :D

Obviously it is another class, but with the same (or even better) mileage, German-made, more power, more torque, more fun. So why the hell not? lol

Anyways, enough with the bullshit, here it is.

Haha, it's the FWD 200hp GTI, but it launches pretty good and it has useful torque from as low as 1500rpm, so yea, it's easier to drive for my gf. It's been pretty sweet so far. Too bad its FWD, o well.

Safety reasons. Mainly tire companies pressured them to sign a gentleman's agreement. (Read it from somewhere, I might be wrong.)

But nways lol. I think this thing has a top speed of 13x only.

lol thanks for all the "lol" for the horn, i accidentally used it today and it was so effing embarrassing.

hate to say it though, this thing with intake + exhaust probably a chip (gonna take it to a friend with a GTI to look at it) throws my back to the seat pretty tightly. this could easily pull a few cars on our 8 on a straight road
but again, it's nothing like driving the 8. for some straight dumb *** fun, this car could easy satisfy me.
really can't complain at all about this vee dubb got 27mpg with mixed highway/city spirited driving on the first tank lol.
i was sooooo excited when i finally squeezed a little over 250 on my last tank in the 8.
