Hey RX8LOVER, chillax man. The kid just took some photos of his brand new car. He's excited! He's 19 and he has an RX-8! WTF is wrong with him taking amatuer photo's? I wasn't aware that this was a photo magazine web site? Geeeez...

 

this forum is FLOODED with stock RX-8 photos. The only reason people are geteting on my case is because I think he could have done a better job with his choice when he posted. Taking a close up of your brakes with (what I assume) are UNPAINTED calipers, it seems silly to me.

 

No, the only reason people are getting on your case is because you acted like a jerk for absolutely no reason. You didn't say
"Hey, could we get a close-up of your brakes with the unpainted calipers?" you said "you need to take a class in photography. Plus you need to get a decent camera. Your angles do the car no justice, and you shouldn't bother taking photos at night with the camera you have."

Maybe you weren't trying to be a jerk, but that's how you came across.

If I see any more of this crap, the thread gets closed (sorry eclps0).

I merely said that he needs a half-way decent camera if he's gonna take photos and post them here.

You need to take a class in etiquette, politeness and general human decency. Plus you need to learn how to apply that in all your day-to-day matters, including time spent conversing on Internet Forums.

Iim a major in special effects for movies not photography so i can care less how the pic comes in as long as its clear and i cann see the car. Also on a another note I love this car once u go zoom zoom u dont go back i was just trying to show everyone the pics of my car.Not to get critized beacuse of the camera i used.

This is the US, eclips can post whatever he wants, 8lover can be an overly aggressive photographic critic, and none of us HAVE to read anything here.

As I have never seen any picture of the shock/spring running through the A arm, I thought it was pretty cool, if sideways.

Oh, also, 8lover, since you are a self-prescribed photo f'ing master, why not take the night photo, render it beautiful and repost it?

Awright back on topic. So why were the wheels off and the car newspapered for overspray? Let's see your project.

 

its kindve dark out and dont feel like taking the rim off today. Also im gonna detail the outside of the car tommrow ( take off each rim clean wax the rim and take pics and put wheel on . Also i try to take closeup[s of teh gashes on the passenger door.

Seriously, though, I'm surprised no one noticed that the guy posting the pics, eclps0 AKA General Jew, is the 19-year old kid who first got flak for upgrading his Mitsu Eclipse to an Rx8 at age 19, and then later told us how some kids at school want to demolish his car (with him in it) and he may need to put the car in hiding until he goes off to college.

eclps0, you're maybe an alright guy, but on this message board you've demonstrated an uncanny talent for getting under people's skin. Maybe it's undeserved, but still... there it is.

I wont say there names but some people on this board should really look in the mirror and grow up already its funny a 19 year old kid acting more mature then a 15-40 year old. Also if that person doesn't like my PICS then stop clicking on the link to the thread. Think about it u might try to put me down but I can careless what some people on this board say to offend me or mock me or the PICS I take. I just laugh about it because the person that keeps making the rude and childish comments is acting like there in high school.

what exactly is "getting under peoples skin?" the fact that he is 19, or that he loves the car, or maybe it is his grammer? I do not get it. The kid (actually young man) is proud of his car, and wants to share on a forum were people are supposed to want the same thing! I have not read one post from him that is nasty or trollish in the least. On the countrary, he is right with at LEAST one thing: people need to look at themselves.

If more kids like him were encouraged to follow healthy productive interests, instead of taking a load of crap for the sin of wanting to share and belong, then just maybe the world would be a better place. End of sermon.
