Well, I don't see much of a newbie thread, so I figured I'd introduce myself here while I post my rotary ****. :-)

You can call me jordan (I'm j0rd4n on rx7club.com). I'm currently in NC (Sanford, formerly Greenvile while I attended ECU), and just got myself an '04 8. An RX-8 was my dream ever since I first heard of it coming out (before I knew what a Wankel was), and I decided to get what I wanted now that I'm out of school and have something of a career.

I just bought this about 3 weeks ago now. Here's the kicker...I bought it with ~7,500 miles! It had one previous owner, and the story goes something like "a girl's husband bought it for her because it was yellow, and it mostly sat in a garage." There's a few paint chips missing but, overall, it's in awesome condition for an '04. It's worth having a car payment for the next 60 months. :-)

yea...yellow wasn't my first color, but I had started seriously looking for an rx8 about a week before, and this just happened to show up at a dealer close to me and, for the price, i couldn't let it sit and just hope for something else (esp for that mileage)

that red on yours is badass...that's the color i hope to paint my rx7 if i ever get to rebuilding it

yea....i don't know a ton about the differences in model years, but i hear that '04 was the only year they offered yellow (not that it makes it any better or worse for me, heh)
