That wouldn't happen to be at the historic Santa Monica airport with the Douglas Museum of Flying where that first around-the-world flight was launched out of, would it? Lots of beautiful planes at that airport. I saw my first Beech Starship out there. A very appropriately named aircraft, by the way. It looks alien. A photo of an 8 with a Starship would be outstanding (although I have no idea where to find one these days).

Nice. Bummer about the museum though. Hopefully it won't be down for too long. I remember there being some nice looking bar&grills there, themed after RAF WWII fighters Typhoon & Spitfire. But I didn't make it into either. Probably priced for the jet set, rather than the RX-8 crowd. But next time I'm out that way, I would like a closer look inside.

You might be right about the price on the restaurants, but no joke: The Best Food In Town. Plus you get to eat right on the runway ^.^

except recently I haven't been bored much at work...I have a deadline on Monday and there's still sooooooo much work to be done. I thought I was near completion when I came in on Sunday. But then my boss comes to me and says we can't use it (because of requirements he didn't know about) and now I have to start over.
