I will be hitting up blockbuster and loading this game on my Hard Drive... immediately

Yeah you can customize your Soundtracks in this game. I have all the Tool Albums on my box, and I can pick any song I want during the race. :D

It's a racing sim like GT4. Picture GT4 on on Xbox. If you have a streering wheel, this game ownz. I just got a mad catz wheel for like $40. Even this shitty wheel is awesome on this game!

Does it have the appearance package option for the RX-8?

So far, the only game that I know of that includes the appearance pkg for the 8 is Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 for the PS2.

Can anyone compare this game to GT4? I'm not really concerned with better/worse since I'm just happy to have one awesome racing game for each of my systems, but I'm curious as to how the feel of the game compares to GT4.

if any of you guys plays on xbox live please send me a friends request my gamer tag is (frankcastle1234) i will buy the game tomorrow. the only thing that this game lacks on when compared to gt4 is the quantity of the cars this game only has 200+ compared to 500+ on gt4 but it is still a blast to play on line witch makes it more exating to play than gt4.

Yeah, but in GT4 there are so many variants of basically the same car for some models (i.e. RX-7, Skyline GT-R etc.) I haven't done the math, but without these duplicates the car count would be quite a bit less.

Well I think it would be a good idea for all of us to post our gamertags. I know I play Halo 2 whenever I have time and would like to have some fellow 8ers to play with instead of 6-7 year olds. IF I get XBox Live (and that's a big if), my tag will be Rhawb. I may use my roomie's box to sign in at some point, so we'll see. I'll let you guys know their tag if I can convince them to let me use it between rounds of Halo.

i've read an article on popular mechanics magazine that compared the two (GT4 and forza) and the writers felt Gt4 was still ultimately better as far as graphics and realism than forza, although i can't judge for myself as i haven't played forza yet but seems promising. This is the first racing sim for the xbox where as gran turismo had 4 tries to get it to this stage im sure the next forza sequel would be dominant.

im glad to see that they included the ms rx8, I was pretty heated when i found out they didn't have that in GT4 but had a nismo tuned 350z
