Just zip tie the 2 water lines together where they come off the fittings. That should keep the lower rubber line from resting on the actuator arm. Looks like a good fit to me! Also looks pretty easy to get to on the car as well.

I may put a 45 degree barb fitting there just to make it easily bolt up.

placing a zip tie on the 2 water lines where they come off the fittings did the trick..the coolant line no longer rest on the actuator and still no kinks in the line!

today finally had some free time to finish my car! took it for a short drive not going into boost, car drives very smooth, no idle issues and my greddy evo exhaust is soo quiet! night and day difference between my hks hi-power (ill post some videos hopefully next weekend of the nice exhaust tone)

Bryan@BNR 07-13-2009 12:29 PM

now get Kane or someone experienced to tune that puppy and make some power!

Lebren 07-13-2009 11:46 PM

Let me know when you get her tuned! As we talked about earlier, I am almost inspired to go FI. and....er....um.....just need some inspiration

gregs 07-13-2009 11:52 PM

^^im sure once you go for a ride you will be convinced my friend!...lol

I was having the same problem with ideal. After boosting a few times won't stay running at the dam lights. What flash or ecu r u using. I'm running an anchent michrotec an a shitty esmirl turbo or should I say was.

rodjonathan 10-30-2009 07:03 PM

not yet, but i havent put much time into it, car is currently in the body shop getting a light makeover. i should have my car back hopefully at the end of next week..then im going to do some datalogs and find out what my afr's and g/sec im pushing with the boost controller turned off...then depending on what i see im going to start tinkering with the boost controller..also noticed my greddy profec b spec II boost controller reading is about 2 psi higher than my prosport boost gauge. im planning on entering high boost levels with caution this time..haha

sounds like a good plan :)

My profec was 1 psi higher than my boost guage as well - on the dyno the profec was the same as the dyno reading so thats what I go with now ....

gregs where did you ever find gaskets to rebolt your turbo kit on?

i did find a suitable gasket. the last gasket i had trouble finding was the turbo outlet pipe, the gasket that works perfectly without any triming is a tial 38mm gasket..the remaining gaskets for the manifold/turbo, downpipe, intake are all from a t25 turbo (nissan silvia sr20det turbo)

im glad theres other options for sourcing gaskets other than greddy mainly because it takes too darn long

RedRocket8 11-01-2009 02:00 AM

very nice!

legendkurado 11-01-2009 02:35 AM

thanks for the info greg and great pics and install btw

gregs 11-11-2009 11:36 PM

made a couple of "wot" runs tonight big thanks to ngo for plotting my runs! let me know what you guys think..btw: jeff (MM) & bryan (BNR) the turbo upgrade and tune kick ass... these runs are done without the boost controller turned on so it hits 5 psi and holds to redline
on my prosport electronic boost gauge

Running rich so no problems to raise the boost a bit at a time .

340g/s is optimistic for 5 psi ....
