I'm sure everyone like myself has seen some photos of the RENESIS motor. But in http://www.RotaryEngineIllustrated.com, they had alot of detailed personal photos of the RX-8 RENESIS engine that were different from all the 'stock' published photos in ads, and mazda stuff.

Well, IDK about it being in production yet, I can only imagine though they will do it, at least a 3 rotor. I'm just kinda imaging, how cool a 4 rotor renesis would be.

 

Yes, the 4-rotor Renesis scheduled to come out next year in the new RX-9. It will have 600 HP (N/A), magicly pass emissions and get 25mpg. The base RX-9 will remain $27k.

Techincally 4 rotor is not really possible with side exhaust port. Unless they can somehow move some of the stuff around with Magic.

oh right, i diddn't think about that lol although on the 20b plate, there is enlarged plates to do the 3 rotor addition check this one out. If taken like this,

it may be feasible.

Don't u think u oculd fit something in there? cause looking at the middle plate, it already has 2 exhaust ports.

 

I don't see how it would be any different then your average 2 rotor..its entirely possible, and using the most recent 4 rotor e-shaft, would be quite easy for Mazda to make...

 

yeah it is, you just make the 2 end exhaust ports like the middle plate. I could photoshop it and you'd see it was possible. The ports would be slightly smaller per rotor and you'd make less hp/per rotor but the total would be great.
