Got my windows tinted-pics inside

I got my windows tinted today and decided to post some pics. I went a little darker than the legal limit here in MA because according to the law you can only do 35% all around but I did 20% in the rear and 35% on the sides. It came out awesome. The place did a perfect job and only used one piece for the rear window. The pics are kinda dark because I took them tonight. I'll post some new ones. Don't flame me cause the car is so stock because I just bought it a few weeks ago. I'm lowering it tomorrow so I'll post some more pics then.

Pete

Mmm. Black on black on black. All you need is gold wheels and you're freakin' set, but that's just me.

I remember going to Houston RX-7/RX-8 Club meet in August, and I think I was the only one without tinted windows (I have the basest of the base RX-8's).

The tint cost me $200 plus tax so it was a total of $210. I think it was def. worth every penny.

As for lowering the car I bought the Tein S-Tech springs on Ebay for under $150. That is all it will cost me because I'm doing the install myself. I started it tonight to study it and to see how difficult it is going to be. So far so good. I only did the left rear and still not to torque everything down but the rest should be much easier.

I'll post some new pics tomorrow.

Looks good!!! Nice colour choice. Is the front plate law in Mass?

Looks a lot like mine. I went with 5% all the way around. Also black on black.

The tint job looks great, Pete!! What brand of film did you go with? Did you choose the brand based on u/v or heat rejection or just to block the view from the outside? Will lowering revoke any warrantees? Congrats!

I'm not sure what brand of film I used it was the one recommended and has a 5 year warranty on it. If it fades I'll just replace it. Lowering the car can't void my warranty unless lowering it caused a particular problem. I believe they have the right to refuse the warranty claim. I'm not concerned with that though because I bought the car to enjoy it.

As for the front license plate it is the law here in MA. I ran around for years without one and only got pulled over a few times for it. Well, in this horrible state the government is so frigen greedy that they are now really enforcing it and for every time you get fined for it the fine doubles. Plus, it makes your insurance go up so it just isn't worth taking the stupid thing off.

HOLY CRAP!

Yeah, I think if I lived where you do I'd have to re-think my "I will NEVER have a front license plate theory!"

Need more pics....
