Here's the official debut of my new wheels. 18x8.5 PIAA Sport Mesh. The guy I bought them from had them painted gold while stationed in Japan. +38 up front and +35 in the rear. They look AMAZING on the car, so much better in person!

I also painted my calipers and hubs black this weekend. Cleans up the car so much. Lemme know what you think.

Lol it looks so bad in the pics because the car had been up on jacks and I hadn't moved it yet, so its sitting a bit high. I have springs sitting in my garage, I just haven't had time to put them on yet. But yes, it'll definitely look better when I put them in. Thanks for the replies.

EDIT: You can see how it sits normally in my sig. Its a bit lower than the pics I posted.

i would go with a drop also.. the rx8 w/ aftermarket wheels doesn't look right to me w/o a drop

The gold go well with the black. You're definitely in need of a drop and paint those rotor hats. Then you'll have it made

 

I was gonna wait until I had the springs in to take pics, but I finished painting the calipers and gave it a bath yesterday and it looked too good to pass up. I'll definitely get more pics with the springs in though. I'm hoping I can do it this weekend.

 

Did you mean that "Gold Wheels Are Underrated?" meaning that they dont get enought credit on how they look.........
