Good pictures, I like them. I recently got into photography, too. (Another expensive hobby...)

Pics look good for your first time. The one of your speedometer is awesome. I like that particular angle, even though it's a bit out of focus. My pictures sucked at first, and still do alot of the time, but practice makes perfect.
Here are some tips I've learned over the past year or so. By no means am I an expert. Try using some of these and see how they work for you.
1)Taking pics against light is a no-no. There is a lot of glare. Try taking pics with the light directly behind you, shining towards your subject.
2)Keep your aperture as far open as possible f/1 - f/5(in manual mode)and use long exposures. Try 13-15 seconds first and move up/down from there.
3)If your feeling kind of brave, try the "fill" flash setting if you have it available on your camera, as it will help eliminate shadows on/around your car. Beware, flash photography is VERY tricky. I just started practicing, so I'm begining to learn just how hard it really is. The shots that do come out well are always amazing before PS.
4) If your using a point and shoot now, keep it until you know every setting like the back of your hand. It will make stepping into a high quality DSLR much easier. If your shooting with an SLR already, keep the user manual with you as it should have some tips and tricks on using the settings. Use the histogram setting on each of these to see if your exposure is correct. (just read your using a D80, so disregard this one I suppose)
5) Tripod, Period. Even during the day with ample light.
6)Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice. You won't know what works best until you try it.
7) Have fun. Don't let crappy pictures ruin your night filled with photography fun. It happens to everyone who shares this hobby.

Nice!
In Pic 4 look for more balance and less distraction in the BG, I was more concerned with lighting in the BG than the lighting of what was in front of me. It was a distraction. The scenery pics were good, There were a few I liked and others I did not. Find a Focused item of the pic, even if it is a light pole or bush make it seem like you are focusing on one thing and not everything at once. For example, I like the last pic but the 2nd to last one I am like "why am I looking at this?"
If that makes sense???...
I always thought criticism was always helpful, just my opinion though

Maybe one day when I get my **** together with my car we can have the best of the best of Orlando take pics together......all kinds of sexyness there...

Please, don't think I completely ignored your awesome tips! I thank you so much for taking the time out and sharing this information with me. I have a lot to learn, and feedback from all of you is a great start!
