How interesting...your silver turned out exactly the same shade as mine.

 

Has anyone seen a RX-8 with a body kit yet?????????? the back kinda looks funny to me ... the side might look good with a skirt

In the flesh, the RX-8 looks its best in mid-tones or colors. They accentuate the beautiful lines and curves better than the very light and/or very dark colors.

 

Well I will tell you what, that gun metal is niceeee. Subtle, but still tough, I will take it, with red inserts if available :D

Wow.....the gun metal looks great! How about a TASTEFUL two tone body? That may be quite nice.

 

I don't particularly like the color green. But somehow in that setting it looks wicked. Like a praying mantis that blends with its surroundings when stalking.

 

That appears to be true -- but I'm still leaning toward black, but yes, having a dark color really does lose all details of the front end (at least what I can see from these Photoshop images) -- maybe some after-market supplier could provide a different chrome or colored grill inserts?

 

While we were down, I experimented with some race car paint schemes. Try Red and Blue.

 

Or, Red and Purple.

hey Styjan, the other day this thread asked what should the new rx-7 look like and i was wondering if you still had some pics from your "guess what i did to this pic" thread. i think those were pretty good photochops of what the next 7 could look like. they dont appear in the original thread anymore.
