Ford GT = Amazing!

So I was at Harris Teeter yesterday(grocery store) and on my way out I saw a Ford GT parked at the top of the parking lot, so i parked next to it, and started taking some pictures. About five minutes later, the owner came out. He let me check out the engine, which was amazing. Then i sat in the drivers seat, he handed me the keys, and let me rev it up. I have never herd something that loud before. He also owns 2 Ferrari's, a Porsche 911 Turbo, and a few other cars. He was at VIR last weekend with his daughter racing his F430.

I seen it at Limerock.

but Ford GT is just a bunch of parts from various source being snapped together by Ford. nothing really that original about it.

pfffffffftttttt.....and that engine oil dipstick is just too conveniently placed.

I prefer the placement of the RX8 dipstick simply because I enjoy sticking my hand into a tight space full of scalding hot hoses and parts.

Personally I've never been partial to a Ford GT. I've seen a few in person but it never did anything for me. I would choose a Dodge Viper or the Corvette ZR1 over the Ford GT

Why are you checking the oil after the car has been on and the engine is hot anyway??? You check it when the car is off and when the engine is cool. Simple car mechanics 101.

To the OP, nice pics, the RX-8 looks like a truck in height ,compared the Ford GT.

Jeremy Clarkson LOVES those things!! (for those of you who don't know that story, SEARCH...hilarious)

Ford GT is one badass car.

Someone tell that guy to buy himself a Range Rover for a grocery getter. I can't even imagine what would happen if he tried to make a Costco Run in that thing...

I like the GT...don't think I'd get it if I had the cash, but I'd give it a good look.

Saw one last Summer at Road America. Guy was a horrible driver, but still walked around with an ego like he ran the place...
