i always thought matte black was cheaper to do than alot of other colors....

You actually don't have to get your car painted to make it flat black. You can get it wrapped in vinyl here is a place that is wrapping cars.

Look in their gallery section they have tons of pictures.

 

They do an awesome job on wrapping these cars. But for $2900, i can pay my car 3 times.
I spoke with Jason out of Dallas, and he sounds like a very cool guy. He even gave me a discount if I paid cash. I would understand wrapping my car if i have a 500k porsche.
I have no doubt the rx8 would look great in flat black, the body of the rx8 is so sexy, it could be any color and still be hot.

I like it, but I'm not sure if I like it more than a freshly waxed BB. It looks better in a picture than in person in my opinion. Still his paint job is very clean.

I really like the flat black.... but the cost of a vinyl wrap to me is only gonna happen if I get some sorta sponsorship Monster Energy Drink, call me!

The Castrol RX-8 is flat black, I dunno if u can tell in this pic tho. I saw it at the NY Auto Show a few months ago, it looks great in person.
