Thanks for all of the comments. I love this car. Yes, the 3 in the street is my daily driver (4.5 years old and 151,300 miles!). It's been a great car--extremely reliable with the exception of an alarming rust issue. It gets great gas mileage and is a ton of fun to drive for that type of car.
Chibana refers to the karate master Chibana Chosin who was an Okinawan who died in 1969 (the year I was born). He is the one who named the sub-style of karate I got my shodan (first degree black belt) in back in 2000, and from all the reading I've done about him, I have a lot of respect for him. He was one of the last of the great Okinawa martial arts masters. I'm guessing that the prefecture is probably named after Chibana Chosin.
HockyRX-8, I love those wheels. Those are what I plan to get for my RX-8, but in 18x8.5 size (38mm offset). I also have a set of them for my Mazda3 (they were just this past winter demoted to my winter wheels), also in Titanium Bronze.

I looked into that. At $995, I decided against it. And the seam line on the hood shows up more on black cars than on other colors. It just didn't seem worth it to me. I may regret it years from now, but considering that I could have the body shop I've been using for many years repaint a significant portion of the front of the car for that much money, I think I made a good choice.
