First RX-8 Forum Meet
This weekend Yuhki, EAST MOON and I got together to finally meet each other! So I think this should be the first meet for RX-8's organised from this forum. We hope to do more and meet other Japanese owners. It's monsoon season here so cars were covered with rain!

I'm just curious. How come you guys are not in the pictures? Are you guys working for the C.I.A.? It would be nice to place a face with the comments. I'm glad someone is having fun with their cars. The anticipation is killing me.

Hey, That's Great guys ! Glad to see you guys got together for a RX8FORUM meeting.
Too bad there's only three of you so far from Japan. I wish we have a few more RX8'ers from Japan on this forum.
Great looking cars, guys ! can't wait to get mine !!!!

Nice.
I dunno, to me, when I see black rims any place other than a track I think someone is riding on their spare.
To each his own.
Congrats to all those expecting and who have received!

eastmoon?
Sometime ago i mentioned that i didn't like the black rims on your yellow 8. But things have changed and I now actually like them. Your car really looks more aggressive than the others - faster!
There is a rawness about it compared to the others. I'm not sure if you understand what I'm trying to say, but I guess it is that your car looks more 'racer like' than the other two.
Hope you are well and still enjoying every second of the car!

...i've said before, and will say again, that light and the film media (probably digital in this case) has a heavy heavy impact on the colour tone, contrast, and intensity.
in this case, what were the lighting conditions?? if it was stormy, gray, and rainy, chances are the light was quite a bit bluer than would be apparent on a sunny day (meaning, less red and yellow), not to mention that this film (of digital equivalent) looks to have a pretty high ISO (or digital equivalent), which means the colours won't come out as brightly...
to really "see" what the colour looks like, you must see it in person (our eyes have this marvelous capacity to adjust to all kinds of wild conditions).

Wow.. that's just beautiful, not just the picture, but the fact that three strangers came together to share the joy of owning an 8.
Congrats dudes.. Now we need pictures of you guys not just the cars! Hahaha..

That comment came up before; 'east moon' and the rest of the bunch keep a low profile over there. Don't worry once the cars start showing up in the states there will be quite a few ugly mugs showing off their cars... You are going to get more than your fill. Be careful what you ask for.
