FINALLY reunited with my RX8 4 years later ! pics
Sat in the parent's garage for 4 years, 23,000 on the clock ! and finally i am once again in possession of my RX8. Just got stationed here in Germany and it arrived a few days ago. Took some quick pics.
And everrrry performance car here on base has the Nuremburg racetrack sticker on them, the track is only a few hours away. Guess what ill be going soon ? Get my street cred up !

I was based in Germany for 3 1/2 year and my biggest regret is not going on the Nuremburg ring. You say only a few hours away, in Germany that could be over 300 miles ;-)
I am interested what will the Madza Rx8 do top speed on the autobahn?
My old BMW 318ti Compact used to take me to and from work everyday at 220KMPH / 140 Mph I loved to drive fast, and german drivers are great they always get out of the way.

Very awesome. Not too many RX8's in Germany. Don't think Mazda sells them there.
BTW, it's Nurburgring not Nuremburg. Nuremburg is a big city in the southwest of Germany. It's about 3.5 hrs from Nurburg, Germany, which is a tiny little town in the Eiffel Mountains about an hour west of Cologne (Koln). The track is about 20 minutes from the town.
It's an absolute blast. I did it many, many, many times. It's actually a toll road. You pay your toll, you drive your lap. Nothing beats the carousel turn, try taking the high line, it's wierd. The fast way through is in the nearly vertical low line. It's totally awesome. And the RX-8 is the perfect car to do it in.
