Looks good, you have good taste, need to drive up from Cincy and do a photoshoot with you. Our cars will look like lost brother's in a couple weeks... when my car is all done.

Very good call on them. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's had an epic wait, haha. I can't wait for tomorrow.

It's gonna be like Christmas.

Good call 9krpmrx8,

it's the first time hearing of XXR offering this type of wheel, so I just assumed they were like the F14.

Here's the F14 for comparison

I saw a Pontiac G8 last night with the same type of wheel except upon closer inspection they were Linea Corse wheels, so Linea Corse (wheel dude IIRC) makes a version of that BBS as well.

Car looks so good man. Nice job. If I didn't just get wheels last summer, I'd really like to have these.

Regarding your fitment... I get some rubbing on my front wheel liner when I make tight turns, and i have a +29 offset on my Advans. Are you getting any rubbing up front with +20? The tire has rubbed away some of the liner, but it still rubs regardless. I do have my rear fender trimmed, so no problems there...

^ no offense Olorin2, but I would take your rims hands down over any of these. I am rubbing up front as well. My fender seam had to be modified, check the rear part where the plastic is rubbing, and see if it is rubbing all the way through the plastic. If it is, you may have to remove the tire and do some work there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not sorry I got the Advans! I was mainly referring to the chromium black 530's in the original post - I just think they're a great match to the car.

Anyway, how did you modify the fender seam? Mine has definitely rubbed all the way through in one spot inside the wheel well. I was gonna try to take a heat gun and see if the liner would contour to the fender a little more, but there's metal behind there and not much room to work with.

I love your car btw and it's one of my favorites on here. You'll know your rubbing in the seam area as it is the highest plastic area behind the front wheel. Anyways, I used a dremel to remove all of the plastic around the seam area where it was grinding through, then an air grinder to carefully remove a minimal amount of the end seam area being careful not to get close to the weld area. That's the thing about running a 255 up front, it sucks, but hey I need the ground clearance for the body kit too. Your's is the first car I have seen that has 245's with this issue. Other than that, the liner itself may just being rubbing on left lock turns, which will cause that as well. Not much else you can do other than getting a shorter tire. Your's shouldn't be anything a dremel can't take care of though. Hope that helps.

Thanks man, that does help. And I appreciate the compliments as well. The tire is definitely just rubbing on left turns, and it's only the left tire. Even with a passenger in the car, the right doesn't rub. But yeah, I didn't think I'd have issues with 245's at all, but the Direzza Star Specs are very beefy. Maybe they're a slight bit wider or taller than other tires of the same size - just enough to contact the liner. I was a little nervous about grinding the seam, but I will take a look and see what I can do with it.

Didn't realize you had Star Specs, I had them in that size and yes, they are as wide as my 255's that would explain it. Your's may just be hitting the liner and not the seam itself as they are still not as tall as the Toyo 255's GLW and sorry for the threadjack Camcenters.

I think I know what wheels I'm gonna get, probably not flat black though.
The more I look at your car the more I want the look of your front end, minus the yellow fogs lol

Thanks Figs, yeah the yellow fogs weren't really planned. I bought fog light bulbs (what I thought would match the headlights) but it was more dull, so I covered it up with yellow tint.

Don't worry about it brilliantblackrx8, it's all good haha.
