JRichter - The yellow car is my new LP560-4.
ivory8 - You are correct, you win the eagle eye award. That is a 20005 Ford GT parked a couple spaces down from the RX8.
kwescott - They are not coming off msrp very much around here on the R3s. I got it for 1,500 off msrp, don't recall the final drive out but I had a trade that took care of most of the sales tax.

Seen one R3 in person, had manufacteror plates....in red, great looking car. But given the fact that I overpaid for my 04 when I bought it...one of the first to be delivered at our location.....I just cant see why they are charging so much for the R3.
Great looking car, not worth the price IMO.

the real question is: Is that an old Aston DB5 in the back corner, in silver? Or its a 2nd Gen Camaro/Firebird? I dont know but it looks cool!
I would die if I had a DB5 and my 8... haha

I know suspension changes were done, and they reinforced something with foam or something, but I would be skeptical about anything mazda reports on their suspension numbers given that their reports on the Mazdaspeed springs was not accurate.

You obviously have not red the Best Handling Car comparison that Motor Trend did recently. The RX-8 did awesome!

yeah, really have no reason to read the article as I'm no longer in the market for an 8....loved my experience autocrossing the 04 RX8 and can definately attest to the handling characteristics....especially now having to try and learn to drive the Miata. The RX8 is a very forgiving car, anyone can jump in one and make it handle like a dream. You definately feel one with the car.
