Putting a FC together?

 

Parting it out.

Long story short... went way too wild and crazy with it, got more annoying to drive than fun, realized no one would buy it for the amount I had put into it and I'd make more money parting it out. So there it is, almost done. I'm up to around 7500 that I've made off parting it with a few things left to sell.

 

Looks like you don't have much left to sell.

 

Full black interior, highly sought after by 2nd gen owners, 5 lug swap sitting in the corner, and a last call for local people to get fender/doors.

I just haven't had time to finish it really, or desire. As soon as I pull out the rest of the interior that's left I'm having it hauled away to get crushed.

I had a farewell post in my project thread on rx7club, made lots of people sad, but I was, and still am, pretty sad as well. It just became too hardcore for daily driving

dang, don't crush it, donate it or something if you can, once it's crushed it's gone forever plus it will proabbyl cost money to have it crushed, surely there 's someone out there who would take it off your hands rather than having it crushed.

 

I had another rx7 that was given to me a year ago that had a salvage title and was pretty messed up. Parted that out also and offered the shell free to anyone that wanted it. No takers, so it got crushed.

I'll give the shell away if anyone wants it, problem is no one will.

And there's a service around me that will haul away the shell to the crusher for 20 bucks, not too expensive.

Yes it was, I had done quite a bit of work to it with a fair amount of mods.

This is exactly why I parted it rather than selling whole. There are not too many people that are buying an N/A FC that would spend 7-8k.
