Does anybody have any pics of the aluminum/chrome fender vents (preferably on a silver 8) thank you ahead of time. I want a set but I don't know if the aluminum or chrome would look better on the silver...any input?

I can't back this up with fact, but I've seen pics of some of the aluminum OEM strakes, and they looked like hell after a year or so...all spotted and dull. I have the stainless ones, and while they've only been installed for about 4 months, they still look absolutely perfect, and I've heard they hold up very well over time.

My 8 is silver, but unfortunately it's dark outside...if no pics are up by tomorrow, I'll throw up a shot or two for you.

 

Do a search in the exterior appearance and body kits section for "fender vents". I found CF,painted and gold but no chrome on silver.

thanks tigerlee for the link - i guess from that pic i made up my mind to go with the aluminum or chrome fender vents but w/o the strakes - i don't like both. Still hoping somebody has a pick of a sunlight silver with chrome or aluminum - maybe 2 people w/ each so i can see the difference...
