I have actually tried both ways, and according to KENSAI Racing (Grand-Am KONI Challange Team) they said it's better to have the slots facing the front of the car... Breaks better, cools better and the pads will last longer too...

as per racingbrake instructions, the slots indeed should face the front of the car.

I hope no one goes out and "flips" their rotors...You NEED to take into account how the INTERNAL vanes face, which may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The way the slots are on the rotor face don't mean anything.

Inside the rotor are grooves that channel air. Some rotors require a specific direction, some don't. It's strictly for cooling purposes.

Right I'll post some pic's up latter.
I'm useing rustoleum paint from homedepot. 2 washes and 100+ heat out side. You can only imagine how hot they get. So far its holding up great.

Not so. There is a significant difference in the function of the slots when they are facing the wrong way.

True. Many simply have radially neutral vanes so it wouldn't matter. Those with inclined vanes should have them oriented into the airflow.
Inclined-vane rotors will have their slots properly aligned as well.

That's exactly what I have been using for several years and on many cars. You don't need to buy the expensive caliper paint kits and you have more colors to choose from. I mixed mine with OEM VR paint.

The vanes inside the rotor should be pointed in the same direction as the slots.

If the internal vanes are perfectly radial (at a right angle to a circumferential tangent), then your slots should be, at least, oriented as in the picture above.
Cross-drilling is omniidirectional.

What does it mean exactly, oriented into the airflow? If I understand what you mean, then in the following diagram with F being the front of the car, the internal vanes at the top of the rotor need to be tilted in as such:

F \ R

I looked at my RacingBrake rotors and the internal vanes are tilted in the opposite direction from the slots. So as per arrow on the rotor and the instructions on the site, the internal vanes are supposed to be:

F / R

whereas visually the slots are tilted in the opposite direction:

F \ R

(as in the last photo w/ a black 8 that you posted)
