Not a problem. I didnt even pay attention to it my self. It does look gray. Even the seat does. I tried to take some with out the flash but you couldnt see it very well.

Hey Andre,

Where'd you get those piano-black center console pieces? Are they custom made? Does your dealership carry them? I want to buy those.

Also, the ashtray cover looks kind of out of place without the piano-black trim. And the bezel where the inner door handle is should have a piano-black cover to complete the look, too.

I'm looking to buy all those pieces. If you could tell me where to buy them, I'd appreciate it.

i'm going out on a limb here but i'm thinking you might be a jags fan? the continued threads and avitar had nothing to do with it - i'm just that intuitive.

 

The ashtray is being done right now. We just picked the car up early in the stages. We have a doner car that is getting all the work done to it and we take the car over and get them swapped. They just installed those parts for us and are finishing up the rest for us.

It is all custom work. I can get you a price if you like. Let me know

Very nice. You can get the inner door handle bezels in piano black also. I got mine from mazdaparts.com Also eyelids would look good on it.

Call RZ Motoring in Orlando, they have smoke and clear clear corners for the 8. I paid $40 for the pair. I have a silver RX-8 so i went with clear. The number is 407-273-0099. Ask for Keith , tell him Raph sent you , the guy who drives the Silver Rx-8. If you can't get him , then speak to anybody, there all very helpful at that shop.

Oh... congrats on your project, thats a mighty fine looking 8. Keep up the good work!

Only thing I would say is to add the front emblem back one. Maybe it is just my personal preference, but the MS bumper just does not look right to me without the Mazda emblem on the front.

Also, I agree with others, clear corners or tinted corners are a must.

 

No idea on the paint code we just told them piano black and they painted it. i would take the car and show them the radio and they could match it.
