Duval Mazda Toy Store Jacksonville, FL show car Feedback

How’s it going all, just wanted to get some feed back on a Mazda RX-8 that my department is putting together. We want to make sure that we are headed in the right direction. Our plans are to put the car is shows locally and state wide. Please let us know what you think about the car. Please keep in mind that we are in the early stages of putting this car together. There is a lot more to come.

Thanks

Andre

One thing about this car is it is owned by my department so it wont be for sale for a long while. It is more of a show car and a car that we can sell the products off of.

So was the one my wife bought

Are you going to be doing any more power mods? Or just stick to MS stuff.

We are kind of at a stand still on performance parts under the hood. We are debating about a turbo system being installed but that is just a thought right now. If we do put a turbo system in the car it will be more for show then for performance. Like i said we are trying to build a car that we can sell off of and having a turbo kit on the car might be a problem for us in that apect. But we are trying to do what no other dealers will do and that is put a aftermarket car together and get in to a scene that is over due for "the local dealer" to get in to. We are lucky to have this dealer group backing us with what we want to do with this car.

We are going to push the envelope as much as we can. We may try to have a custom kit made for the car from one of the local Performance shops here in Jacksonville, FL. We may go talk to the guys over at Stage6 Motorsports and see what they can do for us. I know some of the guys over there and have seen what they can do.

Check out Mazsport as well.

That was who I was alluding to.

Again, cool idea and looks great so far. I wish more dealers would do this!

Yeah Mazsport seems to be who everyone is pointing me to. I will be contacting them on Monday and seeing what they have to offer.

The car looks great!

Those Maya wheels look sick and are hella expensive! $4k-$5k when I looked into them. My dream of owning them abruptly ended when I got the quote.

Keep up the good work!

Yes the wheels were picked out by the head of my department. He didn't care about the cost he just wanted them. Took us 3 weeks to get them. Had to have them custom made from Japan and shipped to us.

since you're down in florida, you might even consider a SC instead of turbo.

SC would probably to hot unless there is a nice cooling system for it. Superchargers seem to get pretty hot here in florida when they are not cooled. I know a few people with them.

We are probably going to try to find some dark amber ones for the JDM look on the car. So if anyone knows where we could get some lets me know.
