Well some of you know I totalled my 8 a while back and buy an EvoX. Well this saturday I had some parts I wanted to install so I did. Here are some pics to share with you guys.

Nice man, have you tracked it yet? Seems to me the radiator would get very little air. Sweet ride.

 

That shifter looks like a huge throw. How is it compared to the 8 stock shifter?

Looks great. I was expecting to see an rx8 but the evo looks hot.

 

I have tracked it extensively with the stock intercooler. The radiator gets a lot of air because the car has several air ducts that are functional and redirect air perfectly. So no overheating issue so far.

 

The throw is longer than the 8 but no by much. I will be installing a short shifter in the months to come since I do track the car every 2 months or so and it helps a lot. But the shift **** I installed does wonders for the throws, doesnt make them shorter but it does make the shift a little bit cleaner.

Looks awesome I bought a new Evo Viii in 2003 , it was a blast to drive. The new ones look even better.

that maf placement looks downright awful.

right after the filter? and right before a bend?

yuck.

 

took it to my tuner today to have it reflashed, got 355whp at 22psi, need to get a new blow off since apparently the stock one isnt holding the psi to well. It should be at 25psi so tomorrow ill take it back in with a new blow off to check it should get around 365whp maybe a bit more.
