man that was a close call
drove away with nothing more than a busted tail light

 

i didnt meet him but my buddy has a pic of the damage to his car. he went off about two minutes before we passed there. the damage really wasnt that bad, driver quarter was smashed in, trunk had been pushed in a little from the side and the tail light was broke.

he was a trooper tho and went back to run the dragon. ill ask my buddy to send me a pic of the damage so i can post it

 

I just don't understand how you go off there,,, its a straight away,,,

 

there were skid marks on the road in the previous corner iirc

 

found a crappy vid of it

 

I would guess came into the previous corner too hot or braked too late, got a little sideways, over corrected, and spun

 

wait so they were coming down the hill,,, I figured that since they were all facing the other direction they were heading up the hill, makes sense,,,

I also heard he was not part of our event

 

FD Dave and I talked to him for a bit after he was pulled out at the lookout area.

His right rear wheel went off, he overcorrected and it whipped around to the left ending in a backwards roll down the hill.

Cop got him for exiting his lane and the tow truck charged him $250 to use the winch.

And it was his 21st birthday.

 

i just txted fd dave asking him to send me the pic he took of the damage
