So I was on my way bout 20mins ago to go buy Halo 2... When a very nice 8 point buck decided he wanted a very close look at my car. Sick thing is I could of missed him but there was alot of oncoming traffic and a very deep ditch. The 8 stops fast but didnt want to pound the brakes considering there was a truck right behind me so It ended up being the deer who got it. But on the brighter side of things im gonna be eatin good and thank god for insurance :D ...ps If the guy in the truck didnt stop i would of been cryin like a baby but you have to own a 8 to know bout that, hard seein your baby all mashed up hehe I got his fur though hes gonna be so cold now...Sucker! :D

 

Sorry that happened. I'm glad you are safe and the 8 isn't that bad off. There are tons of deer accidents here the worse ones are the ones where people panic and try to get out of the way only to find themselved wrapped around a tree. Hope you enjoy your meal. I'd be eating well too. I love deer, they're delicious.

Mate of mine hit a kangaroo whilst on the freeway doing 110kph in his WRX.

Let's just say that the kangaroo took the WRX along to its grave.

I am amazed that you are in such good spirits considering what happened...I would be tempted to grab the 12ga and put a few rounds in the damn thing to make sure it paid ( and then go home and eat the back straps immediately of course!!) Sorry to hear about the wreck.

So what happened to the deer? Dead right away? When my uncle hit a deer, it was still alive. The police officer shot it to make the pain go away. Probably the only time ever that cop will ever use his gun on duty.

Glad your okay and you'r car isnt totaled or In a ditch. Look on the bright side. With how much it will cost to replace just have insruance buy you a Front lip or bumper over at www.vividracing.com It will be about the same cost. You should look into it.
