I'm sure you're proud of it but from my perspective it looks like poop.

yeah I didn't want to be the first to say it but I would ask for my money back and I definitely wouldn't be showing it off.

thats way too much weight for me... dont think i can live with that much weight while wanting to have fun with the car. i just wanted more bass than stock but not interested in going all out on sound system. what i have is not intended for show anyways and the reason why i got this was because i got everything new for way less than the cost of the amplifier itself. the price just got me very interested, so i just decided to have a little beat without sacrificing that much extra weight addon. and trust me if i wanted to go all out on sound, i wouldve got two twelves in there easily because i got major hook ups in beat. and plus my whole set up only takes 3 minutes to remove if i ever want to lighten up my car for some reason.

Well I went with the 10in W6 because it is much lighter than two 12's. The box itself is sealed and quite small, what you are looking at is a false wall, weight of like 7-9 lbs. I dont like super loud bass anymore. Had 2 12's in a audi a4 (last car) and I am over the loud bass, the 10in in a sealed box is much tighter and cleaner. not hard to remove either. Tons of room left for other things as well. But to each his own

that's pretty much what I wast thinking. The idea was somewhat good but the execution leaves a little something to be desired. At first glance it looks like you just threw the thing in there, drank a beer, and called it a day.

Also, you really diminished your trunk space by putting it in the center. You would have been better off putting the sub box closer to the back seats or off to the side.

i have the same setup as jedi minus a sub and some componets, it looks great and is functional. the 4080 is about the only way to go unless go with 12" then you have to go under the deck. but the trunk stays clean and stealth but hey you got some good sound now at least. do the boxes slide around?

If you think 4080 boxes are too expensive, good for you. I'm not being sarcastic at all when I say that I wish I could be satisfied with just throwing a box & amp in the back like you did.

Even though I have about $4k in car audio equipment sitting around, I could easily spend $1k more for an install in the 8. Mostly because I'd have to buy new subs/boxes (somehow I don't think the 15's I have will fit).

So trunks are for stereos......................

Not my thing.

Needs to be integrated so the trunk is functional.

Nothing like going on a weekend trip. Fun and relaxtion.

I bet it sounds real good.
