Columbia River Gorge

It was a beautiful day, so I took a drive down through the Gorge. Here are a few pics:

Beautiful pics. Was that the Wa. side ?
Reminds me of when I was a kid living in Portland. We'd go to Multnomah Falls and the Bonneville Dam and Beacon Rock.

Yeah, WA side. Highway 14 is a great drive when there aren't many people on it. On the first beautiful Sunday of the year however it was croweded and slow going. That's mainly why I stopped a lot to take pics . Since I live in Vancouver I do the oposite loop: Drive out 14, cross at the Bridge of the Gods, Then hit the historic highway (Multnomah Falls and up to Rooster Rock) on the way back.

Actually, they're JIC Magic J-Force 05's. Just got them a few days ago. Check this thread for details: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/new-wheels-aipex8-145019/

Oops, missed your question. It's the Bonneville Dam... You know, where the sea lions were shot...

Those look good. I may pass on the Enkei's and get these. Almost exact piece. Can you pm me the price and where you got them? Been looking at Enkei's for a while but the 2300 price w/o tires was killing me.

Yeah I just heard about that, so I guess it was because they were eating the Salmon, haha.

Nice drive - the Bridge of the Gods is awesome.

I just drove I90 over Snowqualmie Pass, then went up 97 over Blewett Pass, then came back along the Columbia at Vantage, but my camera was busted.
