The reason why it looks "pinkish" is that comparison to the darker red leather in the interior. Because of this, I personally have not found a red leather/suede/vinyl material that matches the OEM red and therefore choose to stay with black.

Much like what I did with my P5. This boot was black leather and silver stitching.

i have seen chrism's boot in person and i can assure you its not pink. the boot is camera shy, it looks pink even i my pics of it

looks pretty good and it really settles in....but it'll look clean and sleek if you painted the Silver Trimmed Ring around it....
