can someone explain to me a shaved door handle?

 

removing the handles and opening the door electronically via remote, door popper etc.






edit: I'd be interested in seeing a shaved Rx8 up close, I'd do my doors but on our cars with the way they are shaped the only really good way to do it would be to buy a "donor door" and cut it up etc. since our handles are right on a line, which would probably cost a small fortune and be way more trouble than it's worth.

^Theres a back up plan. Not sure what it is, but I know a guy one the forums has a BB with shaved door handles.

 

this car was at rotor jam this year, you dont see too many 8s with shaved door handles
I remember it was all the rage in the early-mid 90s,,, It was the must do mod...

 

i just to have a rx7 without door handles. there was a wire that i could pull from under the fender that will open the hood, and then i could replace the battery if i needed to
