I Would second that idea....on getting some screens for your oil coolers. Those need to be covered ASAP! Ouch!

Hurts just looking at those Cooler fins!

You can get a radiator brush and use it on your oil coolers better air flow = better cooling

The clips are a b*tch if they stick.

thanks Dom. I have cooler screens yet to install.

OP I know the bumper has to come off, so this thread ROX! Two in one instructions to a point. I'll search and find the other bumper removal threads as well. I am NOT looking forward to doing this myself..

the hardest part about taking off the bumper is convincing yourself you can do. Once you start you'll be amazed at how quickly it's done.

^+1 on that. Was nervous about taking that bumper off the first time, now I can do it blindfolded in no time at all.

Dunno if this is really true about the warranty, but it happened to me this week...

My driver side fog light went out and I searched here and got info on how to change it myself. Then my driver side sun visor cracked so I needed to take it into the dealer to get that replaced - can't drive with that thing flopping all over the place.. sheesh! So I decided to ask how much it would cost for them to replace the fog light and I was quoted $80 over the phone! When I took the car in I was talking to the service mgr about it and he said wait a minute... "You're car is still under warranty, so the fog light is covered unless it's cracked." They did it for free!!!!!!! I did not have to jack up my car or turn my wheels or do contortions - YAY!

As far as I've gotten on the bumper is replacing the stock lower black plastic air dam. Previous owner mangled it up a bit and the gashes were a sore spot with me.

I'll have to yank the bumper one day, at the least, to install the cooler screens.

hey, i wonder if anybody experiencing the same thing that i am having. I've just installed my fog lights 2 weeks ago. I disconnected the battery for safety purpose. After everything was all installed and put back. i've start to notice the car have small rough idles. The car idles when after its warm up and at dead stop. I tried to reset the ecu, however it did not help. Is there anybody having the same problem??

i wasnt really under the hood during this process, just habit i guess.

here your pic
the red dots are screws, the green line is the center pit, and the pink circles are clips that the bumper snaps into.
the blue circle are the parts i changed.

Is that black piece above the foam metal? I was thinking about making a custom ram air and its kinda cool to see everything since I havent taken my bumper off yet.

i cant remember, but i assume its metal .

i think the hood latch is bolted to it, and that may be the horn attached to its right side .

you should ask ( i forget his user name, he has that asian guy in a white fur coat as his avatar ) where that vent in his front bumper goes .
