CF Hood

OK some time back I found a pic of a Black RX-8 with a CF hood. It was vented with the vents yup top by the Rotary indent on the hood. There where like 4 vents on each side. I think. Anyone know where I can find this hood?
Thanks for the info!

i saw this hood on ebay and looks very similar or exactly the same as varis, but half the price. I know the quality and fitment wont be as good as varis, but pretty damn close im sure and a heck of a deal. I think i might just order one

this is the vis hood, the fitment was just fine and the weave is pretty good for the most part, it's a little uneven around the vents but i imagine it might be like that on any hood.

anyway i like it and it's a little more than 1/4th the price of the varis

Great thanks guys. I would have searched but I had no idea what it was called and I tryed "cf rx8 hoods" on google but that sucked.

So whats the best one to get out of the 3?
I dont want the Carbon Kevler if it comes in blue that would be over kill on my blue 8.
So out of the FRP and the Carbon Fiber hood whats the differences?

Thanks,
-Gil

personally, ima go with the vis hood, looks exactly like the varis and cost half the price. Its all personal preference if you prefer JDM or not. If you want pricey jdm stuff, go with varis instead of the VIS look-a-like.

i like the fact that the 'rotor' symbol on that hood isn't tiny like on other CF hoods.

Well you pay for what you get so I'm going with the CF $800+ hood cuz I'm a broke *** like that lol I'll post pix when she comes in.
At first the weight was on my mind then I got to thinking about it and its just way to hot out here in Vegas so I need a vented hood to help prolong the live of my baby lol

That's the EXACT same excuse I'm gonna use if I ever go CF. I think I'd paint mine black though...
